Terror Vision Unhappy Campers Club (Vinyl Subscription)

Sale Price:$225.00 Original Price:$249.98

We know you come to Terror Vision for the deep cuts. We were and will always be a small label doing releases that aren’t for the masses.

After 7 years of running Unhappy Campers club the same way, we’re flipping the script and embracing our place among a devoted underground of soundtrack junkies and cinemaniacs. We’re taking the LP club in a new direction that’s far more personal and hand-crafted than played-out promo merch like hoodies/hats. So if you’re still interested in our bizarre tastes and want to be a part of a special pack of weirdos… Listen up…

Here’s how the club will run for the second half of 2023:

  • You’ll receive the next 6 LPs Terror Vision releases in a club-only handpour/unique variant with hand-numbered packaging

  • in addition to receiving the standard cover/gatefold jacket that retail customers receive you’ll get an additional Record Club-only cover variant. This will come as a 12x12 flat or possibly a 24x12 foldover depending on the art and title. Most of these will be screen printed in-house at Terror Vision.

  • During your 6-title run, you’ll receive 1 random test pressing FOR FREE. This could be for something old, something new, or something unreleased. These tend to hit toward the end of your sub so don’t panic.

  • You’ll receive our new 2023 unhappy campers club only tee shirt

  • You’ll receive our new 2023 unhappy campers tote

  • You’ll receive our new 2023 club slipmat

  • You’ll receive our first-ever unhappy campers patch

Last but not least you’ll have access to the Terror Vision wholesale portal where you can buy additional TV-related stuff (blurays/cassettes/bundle items) at wholesale cost. Will save you a bunch of dough if you want our other objects. You’ll also find other imprints that Graveface Distro (my distro label) distributes for cheap.

We ONLY put out stuff we’re truly passionate about. Terror Vision is definitely not for everyone and we plan to keep on embracing the unusual.

Thx for your continued support! Seriously. Some of you at this point have been subscribed for 7, going on 8 years and that means the fucking world to me. No joke but without the club TV would’ve been out of business by now.

    xoxo,

    Ryan Graveface

Here’s the press release that just went out:

Greetings earthlings! Our big announcement for #terrorvisiontuesday / #13weeksofhalloween is that we’re expanding the Terror Vision Unhappy Campers Club to 666 members! Think it’s a trite number? You’re right! The reason for increasing membership? Well with Prom Night 2 and Horror Workout we had to cut off people who wanted to join for those titles and that quite frankly just seemed stupid. Will we get to 666 members? Probably not. It’s an arbitrary number in reality but does allow for 100+ people to join and get all the goodies. So with this news comes the announcement of what you’d receive IF you joined today:

Rumpelstiltskin (1995) LP - Composed by Charles Bernstein (Nightmare on Elm St) this gem has everything you'd want in a TV release. A catchy vocal main title, groovy synth cues, and creepy ambient music. We embossed the shit out of the packaging to give it that video store-era feel. Liner notes by Charles. This has never had an LP release until now. The estimated in-hand date for you as a clubber: Sept 15th.

Monster Squad (1987) 3XLP - Composed by Bruce Broughton...we had originally released this as a cassette a few years back and decided that despite Mondo doing an LP release of this almost 8 years ago it was worth us doing a "definitive version" of the score. So this is a triple LP (!!!) and contains every cue that was written for the film, some of which didn't make it onto the aforementioned release 8 years ago. This turned out super cool and I'm beyond excited for fans to have it in their hands. Liner notes by Fred Dekker and Bruce Broughton. The estimated in-hand date for you as a clubber: October 1st.

Toxic Crusaders (1991) 2XLP - Composed by Dennis C Brown & Larry Brown along with Chuck Lorre on the theme song, this was a short-lived staple in my house growing up. So many memorable, cute, goofy, oddly spooky cues over these 2 LPs. First time on vinyl (or any format). Liner notes by primary composer Dennis C Brown and Lloyd Kaufman. The estimated in-hand date for you as a clubber: October 20th.

There's Nothing Out There (1991) 2XLP - This is similar to our release of THINGS from a few years back where we're putting EVERYTHING on here. Soundtrack/score/demo work etc. It's an enormous amount of music pulled from many different sources and I think the end result is super fun. We're still finishing the art on this one so the estimated in-hand date is uncertain but guessing mid to late Nov.

Return of the Living Dead 2 (1988) LP - How this score by J. Peter Robinson has never had an LP release is BEYOND ME. But I tell ya what, I'm glad because we're releasing it. The art is still being worked on (it's not just the title in a square haha) but the music is all assembled and mastered (by the composer himself). So I'm thinking a late Nov to early Dec release on this one. Note: This is the SCORE ONLY. The soundtrack has already had a release and you can find them pretty cheap if you're looking for those Anthrax tunes haha. This is not that.

???? - The 6th release is a mystery because I'm not sure which of the 30+ soundtracks I'm working on will be ready first. But I tell you what, if you like the stuff I release on Terror Vision, I'm sure you'll love whatever the 6th release ends up being.

So with the rising price of everything we've raised the price of the club for the first time ever from $200 to $225. Not much of an increase but will help us tremendously. If you're already a clubber who wants to renew, your renewal rate will now be $200 instead of $185. Unless anything crazy happens on earth these prices will more than likely remain for another 8 years. As per usual, each year that you're in the club you'll get a club tote, tee, slipmat, test pressing etc.
